Some Spotlight on Cheetah from the Upcoming film “Wonder Woman 1984”

Patty Jenkins has opinionated in her latest interview that a fully-computer graphics designed CGI would have never worked in her film.

Despite Marvel’s massive success with the CGI in the last two Avengers films and Hollywood’s large dependence on it for profit in the preceding years, Patty Jenkins decided to stick with the basics. Patty Jenkins realized that even the mighty Computer Graphics Interface does have some limitations. And she realized those shortcomings when she was working on her main antagonist for the film “Wonder Woman 1984.”

Those limitations caused Patty Jenkins to make a decision to opt to use it to a strict minimum.

Jenkins explained her decision in her recent interview and said that to find the right balance between computer graphics and prosthetics took a lot of effort.

Jenkins explained that apprehension regarding the character Cheetah stayed with her from when she started working on it to the day, she finished her work. She knew for a fact that if they do not do it properly, the character can look pretty bad. So, the first thing she did is talk with her technical team and ask them what the best they can pull off with computer graphics. So, when they showed her their work, Jenkins was not impressed and made a decision based on the fact that the technology that was at their disposal was not good enough.

She remembered talking to one of the cast members of the Cats who were shooting just nearby. When she heard that they are going ahead with the CGI thing, she wished them good luck because she was sure she wouldn’t be going ahead with it.

And it turned out to be a very good decision because Cats was a CGI catastrophe and Jenkins said that she is immensely proud of the work that she and her technical team went through to pull off the character of Cheetah that not only gave them a lot of experience but also saved the film from what it would have been another Cats-like disaster.

Of course, Jenkins’ decision was influenced by the fact that the first Wonder Woman film was criticized for the poor CGI that was used in the climax battle.

It looks like the woman learns from her mistakes, and it is a sign of an intelligent filmmaker. Evolution is the key.

You can watch Patty Jenkins’ work on HBO Max and in theaters on December the 25th, 2020.

Why you should switch from Microsoft Office to LibreOffice (and why you shouldn’t)

LibreOffice’s 5.1 update added support for Windows 10. An unofficial version of LibreOffice was recently uploaded to the Microsoft Store, but now doesn’t show up if searched directly in the store. It’s still available via LibreOffice’s site, though. While the version of LibreOffice that was available through the Microsoft Store isn’t official, it’s a quality software suite that begs the question,  Is it worth switching from Microsoft Office? I’ve used Microsoft Office since Windows 95. But I decided to take a look at LibreOffice after it arrived in the Microsoft Store. It’s impressed me, though it’s viability as an office suite depends largely on your setup. Here are some reasons why you should choose LibreOffice over Microsoft Office, and some reasons why you shouldn’t. LibreOffice is available for free on Windows 10, Mac, and Linux through Libre Office’s website. See Office 365 at Microsoft Download LibreOffice Reason to switch:  Value The f...
