• Downloading songs from Spotify is only applicable for the Premium Subscribers. If you have its Premium subscription only then you can download music from Spotify for offline playing. So, before all, make sure you have a premium subscription of Spotify.
• One more thing you’ll need to download songs from Spotify is to connect your Device with a Wi-Fi network. Through your cellular data, you can’t download songs.
After doing this all, follow below steps to get Spotify music for offline playing on your device.
On Mobile:
1. Launch ‘Spotify’ app of your mobile.
2. Tap on ‘LOG IN’ if you aren’t logged in.
3. Enter ‘Email address and Password’ of your Spotify account and log in.
4. Now, on the Spotify home screen. Tap on the tab ‘Your Library’ at the right-bottom corner of the screen.
5. Tap on the ‘Playlists’ option. It may be at the top or middle of the Your Library screen. Here you can also select Albums and Songs.
6. Now, select a ‘Playlist’ if you’d opened Playlists or an ‘Album’ if you’d opened Albums to download.
7. Turn on (Green) the switch of ‘Download’. The download toggle switch is near the top of your mobile screen on the right side.
Turning on Switch means songs are downloading into your Mobile device. After completed downloading of a song, an arrow facing downward will appear on it.
How to play downloaded Spotify songs offline?
Now, either your net is connected or not you can play downloaded song offline.
1. Open ‘Spotify’ app.
2. Go to ‘Your Library’.
3. Now, navigate to the song you want to play.
4. And tap on it to play the song.
On Desktop:
Unfortunately, on the desktop app, you can’t download albums.
1. Double click on ‘Spotify’ icon to open it.
2. Click on ‘LOG IN’ if you aren’t logged in.
