Season 3 of “Narcos: Mexico” Will Soon Arrive on Netflix

The third installment in the hit Netflix series (a spinoff from Pablo Escobar’s timeline) titled “Narcos: Mexico” has been ordered by the streaming giant, but the fan-favorite tv series will hit the screens without its lead actor Diego Luna who played the infamous boss of the Mexican drug cartel- Felix Gallardo.

The news has been broken by a reliable media house “Variety,” which has also confirmed that the showrunner Eric Newman has also given his resignation after five seasons. Carlos Bernard will be promoted as the new showrunner.

Luna’s exit has not been a surprise for anyone as he had said way back in April that he is now all game to take a holiday after two seasons of “really intense shoot.”

Season 2 had ended with Luna’s character getting arrested by the police. Internationally renowned actor Wagner Moura, primarily known for his role as the infamous crime lord Pablo Escobar in the original iteration of Narcos, will helm two episodes for Season 3.

The actor had revealed his intentions of being a director for Season 3 in his speech at the 50th International Film Festival of India held in November last year. It is imperative to know that Wagner Moura had just stepped into the direction world with the venture titled “Marighella,” which was also released last year. The upcoming season will most likely explore the chaos that will ensue following the dismantling of Felix’s empire.

With new players struggling to find their place in the cut-throat world, new drug lords will emerge from the shadows.

Initially, there was no such thing as “Narcos: Mexico,” and the plot points which were explored in the spinoff series were planned to form the basis for the 4th season, which was, in turn, planned to explore the ascent of the cocaine mafia under the Medellin cartel. However, as time passed, creators became more interested in establishing a different world. It eventually led to the script for Narcos: Mexico Season 1, which established the early years of the Mexican drug business.

Actors who will be returning for the new season include Scoot McNairy, Jose Maria Yazpik, Alberto Ammann, Alfonso Dosal, and Gorka Lasaosa. Eric Newman will return as the executive producer. He will fulfill his obligation, which has been given to him the courtesy of an overall deal between him and Netflix, which binds him to the projects of both longer and shorter formats.

The series will be a production of Gaumont Televisions.

Why you should switch from Microsoft Office to LibreOffice (and why you shouldn’t)

LibreOffice’s 5.1 update added support for Windows 10. An unofficial version of LibreOffice was recently uploaded to the Microsoft Store, but now doesn’t show up if searched directly in the store. It’s still available via LibreOffice’s site, though. While the version of LibreOffice that was available through the Microsoft Store isn’t official, it’s a quality software suite that begs the question,  Is it worth switching from Microsoft Office? I’ve used Microsoft Office since Windows 95. But I decided to take a look at LibreOffice after it arrived in the Microsoft Store. It’s impressed me, though it’s viability as an office suite depends largely on your setup. Here are some reasons why you should choose LibreOffice over Microsoft Office, and some reasons why you shouldn’t. LibreOffice is available for free on Windows 10, Mac, and Linux through Libre Office’s website. See Office 365 at Microsoft Download LibreOffice Reason to switch:  Value The f...
