Turn off and on your device and network equipment
You should now refresh your devices by doing a soft reset. First, shutdown the device you’re using for watching Hulu videos. After that, unplug it from the power and other sources. Do the same thing with your network device. Leave both the devices unplugged for a few minutes, then plug your devices back and turn them on. Now, start the Hulu application and see if the Hulu playback failure issue persists.
Try using a wired connection
Ensure that your device has a strong network by switching to the wired connection. Disconnect your streaming device from the wireless network connection and use an ethernet cable to connect directly to your modem or router. After switching your connection, start Hulu and see if playback issue goes away. If it works, try using a wired connection for streaming or move your wireless router closer to your Hulu streaming device.
Remove other connected devices from the network
If a lot of accessories, such as computers, gaming consoles, smartphones, and others are connected to the same network you’re using for watching Hulu, then remove them. Also, ensure that your network is protected, and nobody can connect to it without your permission. After doing so, check if the playback failure issue has gone. If it troubleshoots Hulu playback failure issue from your device, then try using few devices while watching Hulu or use a multi-band router.

·      Deleting and reinstalling Hulu
