How to Access and Change the Plan on Netflix

Netflix is now one of the most used video streaming services. It has more than 58 million subscribers in the United States alone. Many popular series are now also uploaded on Netflix. User can find almost every trending series, videos, and more on Netflix.

Moreover, it is the only streaming service that offers three different streaming plans to the users. And the interesting thing about them is that you can use these plans on a single account. Therefore, you don’t need to sign up for a new Netflix account and to purchase the plan through it. You can easily change your Netflix plan whenever you want from the Netflix website and mobile app.

Netflix offers these three plans:
·      Standard Definition (SD) with one screen
·      High Definition (HD) with two screens
·      Ultra High Definition (HD + UHD) with four screens
The charges for each plan are different and higher for more screen and resolutions. Here are the steps to access and change plan on Netflix.
1.   Start the ‘Netflix’ app on your smartphone.
2.   Then touch on the ‘More’ button at the lower right edge of the screen.
3.   Now, select ‘Account’ on the next screen. This will load the Netflix webpage with your current plan details and an option to change the plan.
4.   Touch on ‘Change Plan’ option. This will show all the three plans of Netflix on your screen.
5.   Look for the Netflix plan you want to change your current plan with and select it. Before this, read the details and charges of that plan.
6.   Swipe up and touch on the ‘Continue’ button.
7.   A message pops up on the screen showing both your current Netflix plan and newly selected plan.
8.   Touch on ‘Confirm Change’ to activate the new plan.
You new chosen plan has been selected, but won’t activate until your next billing cycle starts. Till then, you will continue to use your current plan.

If you watch Netflix on your video game console or another device that doesn’t have a browser, then you can use your computer browser to change the Netflix plan in your account. Here is how.
1.   Visit “netflix.com/YourAccout” with a browser to load the My Account page of Netflix directly.
2.   You may need to sign in to your Netflix account. Use your primary Netflix account for which you want to change the plan to sign in.
3.   After that, click on your ‘Profile’ button near the upper right side.
4.   Choose the primary account from the menu.
5.   Now, go to the ‘PLAN DETAILS’ heading in the opened page.
6.   Click on the ‘Change plan’ option. This loads a new page with all of the three plans of Netflix and details about them.
7.   Click on the ‘Netflix Plan’ you want to use.
8.   And proceed with the ‘Continue’ button.
The Netflix plan will be changed and it shall activate from your next billing cycle.
